Nachi Primeval Forest
Nachi Primeval Forest is the protected woodland setting around Nachisan in the Kii Mountains World Heritage property. It gives the Nachi shrine-and-waterfall landscape its older forest frame and reminds visitors that the pilgrimage setting is more than a scenic viewpoint.
